Tools are made from a high quality Chrome Vanadium Steel, Hand tool used to spread the heels of horse shoes that are too tight in the heels. Though this task is normally performed with a forge and anvil, smaller to average sized aluminum shoes can be loosened quite simply by opening the spread in the horse shoes at the heels to make them fit the hoof correctly.

This shoe spreader is 16″ in length and has great leverage, makes easy work of spreading heels and adjusting shoes!
